Snow Day

We had an unexpected snow day on Tuesday which made for a nice 4 day weekend. Actually, the snow accumulation was very minimal but the city had a coating of ice making roads unsafe. Hey, works for me! I love having a reason to stay home in my pajamas all day!

We had a fun time. Almi is going to tell you about our day.

Hi! Well, first mommy wanted me to dress warmly so I added more and more striped clothing over my cute striped pajamas. I tried to tell her I wasn't cold, but she was NOT having it.

Then we went downstairs and I helped mommy make some curried lentils. I thought it was fun shaking in the spices and stirring the lentils.

While they were cooking, Mommy put in video on wild animals. It was awesome. I asked to see it three times!

I love watching videos with Mommy next to me. I like being able to snuggle up with her and have her hold my sippy cup of frafee. Mommy said it was hot cider but I like to call it frafee.

After the movie I had fun playing dress up. It is so fun to put on Mommy's shoes.

Then we did some puzzles. I am getting pretty good at them!

And we ate yummy food. I made a bit of a mess with my applesauce.

It was a fun day but I missed my teachers. Mommy said I was going to see them the next day. Maybe on the next snow day we will get some snow so I can try out my new boots and snow pants!
