My little neighbor got Christened today. It was a lovely service and I, as the Godmother, was proud and thankful to be there to celebrate with her and her family. The sermon, coincidentally enough, centered around being thankful. We were reminded that the apostle Paul said to be "thankful in all things". Because we can not control our external circumstances (life, death, the stock market, health, love, livelihood, etc.) we need to remain thankful for everything God has given us, regardless of circumstance. I have a lot of growth to do in that area (lol) but it was good to hear! Anyway, Tatiana was an absolute angel; it was a beautiful day.
