First time on a swing!

So Many Firsts!
First time seeing my house!
First time at a playground (where she got mistaken for a boy.. yeah I'm so not into gender stereotyping.. the less pink, the better! ..tho for the record, she did have pink shoelaces.. )
First time sleeping in the crib! (the doctor told me to give her a pillow to elevate her head to help with the pain of her ear infection... i take it away when she falls asleep since the pain doesn't wake her up)
First time eating in the highchair.
First time in the yard!

Love the new photos! The one of her in your yard (she looks like she is trying to check out everything), and the video on the swing is awesome. My little Twinkle loves the swing too! Great photos, keep posting them :)
Shes beautiful ! My Almaz used to get mistaken for a boy all the time too until her hair grew in a bit more.
love, love love this!
Love the line of booger streaming to her cup. Love her laughs on the swing. Firsts never get old.
My adorable girl had very little hair and looked great in blue (and now it's her favorite color -- like me!), so we got the boy comments for a good while. Didn't bother me. Once she got some hair, it never happened again. :)

everyone thought holly was a boy at first too. i am guessing it was because she had short hair. she was even called a boy while wearing pink one day.
I just came across your blog lately through Hazel's and I wanted to sent a note to say thank you for your honesty. It's nice to hear how it actually could be when our baby comes home. your honesty will truly help me and my expectations when my son comes home. I look forward to following the rest of your journey.

Congratulations on the arrival of your beautiful baby girl!
I made the big decision to have both my girls ears pierced before they turned one (don't shoot me, I know) and even with earrings in, if they wore pants, they got mistaken for boys...flip/flop, my son, up until a few months ago when he cut off all his long, beautiful, curly locs, got mistaken for a girl almost every single day of wearing them--and he's no baby!
Question: Has she turned into your best friend yet?????? :)smile
