Here are a few photos of what I have done so far in my classroom. I get my kids on Monday so, yes, I was there til 8 o'clock tonight! Last night I went to the PTA picnic and met some of the K parents. They are all happy to get another Kindergarten teacher but of course none of them want their child moved. Some expressed this to me at the picnic. One woman was close to tears talking about how she'd have a breakdown and end up in the hospital if her child got moved! Whoa. I hope the transition (for the parents) goes smoothly.. the kids will be fine.
All I know is on Friday I can take my contract and a big pile of other stuff to my social worker to get this daggone homestudy finished! Finally I can get back on track with this adoption!

YAY!!!!! School hasn't been open that long...wow the parents are a little extreme aren't they. Now off to the social worker you go! :-)
